The Journey of Arnel Pineda
Just in case you had watched the movie titled the last American virgin when you cut classes during your high school days. You will probably remember the soundtrack of the movie - “open arms”.The song was made famous by the band named Journey. They are doing concerts touring around the world but this time minus their best lead singer Steve Perry instead the remaining band members hand-picked our home grown talent Arnel Pineda who sings in resemblance with their former band mate.
Arnel, a Filipino who experienced poverty in his early life, is really an inspiration for those who aspire to be successful. His great harsh voice is catapulting him to the world of fame and famous. Who could imagine a person who was homeless during his youthful years and barely find food on the table suddenly becomes popular and rich. Miracles do happen sometimes and success is not limited on being an immigrant to a prosperous country.
