I wanna know what love is

This is a beautiful song that I often listen. The rhythm, the beat and the lyrics are perfectly blended producing a fine tune that touched my heart. The song elevated me to another dimension as if I forgot all the problems and worries on my mind for at least couple of minutes.

Suddenly, I started to think what really love is. Did I catch the message of the songwriter more than the song itself? Do I really know what love is nor I find it?

Love had been the topic since time immemorial. It was defined and redefined throughout every generation. It was written and explained in the bible, poetry, history, etc. With these available facts about love, did I actually perceive the concept of love? Love is hard and deep to fathom. It is an art of itself. The meaning of love to me could be craziness to others. Love cannot be measure and sometimes extend beyond reasons.

In this materialistic world, most often than not, most women look for partners that rich enough to provide them all the necessary things the universe can offer. They disregarded the deep meaning of love per se and settle what could be the best for them in a money-oriented way. This phenomenon is universal and in fact happens to men too. Ironically, our parents advised us to use our intellectual mind in choosing a partner thus always find a gf/bf that is rich. Anyway according to them, love can be learned and it can even be thought. This is a pursuit of richness indeed and full neglect of love and feelings.

Forcing yourself to love a person simply because he or she is rich is undoubtedly painful though, it is an easy way to escape poverty. For those who follow their minds over their heart, I hope love grows into your relationship and produce unshaken foundation in your family. Kudos for those who follow their heart no matter what happen, surely they find and taste happiness in some point of their lifetime.
